Healthcare Staffing Solutions (HSS) is a provider of permanent, casual and contract healthcare staffing to leading healthcare providers around Australia. We go that extra step to source the right staff, many who hold post-graduate qualifications or have gained many years experience within their speciality.
Our capacity to supply staff at short notice is second to none with the majority of our nursing staff exclusively registered with HSS. The majority of our nursing staff is exclusively registered with HSS. This allows the placement of the same nurse to a hospital, shift and ward for 90% of our bookings.
Healthcare Staffing Solutions has been appointed by the Victorian Department of Health as a supplier of casual nursing services to public health services in Melbourne. HSS is also recognised by NurseWest as an approved supplier of contract healthcare staff for regional and rural health services in Western Australia.

Healthcare Staffing Solutions keeps you up-to-date by offering at no charge competency skill updates and CPE modules and training for our agency nurses.
Healthcare Staffing Solutions is committed to providing lifelong careers in healthcare. To assist in developing your skills or post-graduate qualifications, HSS will make available a scholarship of $1,000 for further education once you complete 80 shifts with HSS within a year. A range of Professional Development programs are also available through our training partner IHNA at heavily discounted rates.
Healthcare Staffing Solutions understands the development of skills and knowledge requires learning and experiences gained on a global stage. HSS will make available a 5 day overseas Study Tour, including travel and accommodation, once you complete 175 shifts with HSS within a year. Or you may choose instead to put a $2,000 scholarship toward post-graduate studies in nursing.
Healthcare careers in regional and remote areas of Australia are both rewarding and offer great career prospects. Healthcare Staffing Solutions is contracted by Nursewest to supply nurses and healthcare staff to regional hospitals in Western Australia on a contract basis.
Healthcare Staffing Solutions is contracted by HPV (Health Purchasing Victoria) for the supply of nurses to all Melbourne Metropolitan hospitals. HSS can offer casual shifts for nurses in all specialties including; ICU, CCU, Midwifery, Medical, Surgical, Aged Care, Theatre, Cardiac Care and Pediatrics.
